TUNE: controlled start and end of the extraction

TUNE technology expands the classic E61 workflow with timed phases at reduced pressure. At the beginning of the extraction, the coffee puck can be gently saturated at around 3 bar; the final phase can also be configured accordingly. This gives you an additional way to adjust the extraction process reproducibly for different coffees without having to intervene manually during every extraction.

Two boilers for temperature stability and steam reserve

The separate 0.58-litre brew boiler focuses on espresso temperature, while the 1.8-litre steam boiler independently provides steam and hot water. Both boilers are controlled by PID. This allows you to set the brew temperature to suit the roast level while maintaining sufficient power for cappuccino, flat white or latte.

Rotary pump: tank or mains water

The rotary pump ensures quieter operation and enables a direct mains water connection. Alternatively, the R58 TUNE remains fully flexible with its 1.9-litre tank. For a permanently installed premium setup in particular, the mains water option is a significant convenience advantage.
