The ECM tamper station made of polished aluminum provides a stable base for the portafilter and prevents you from pressing directly onto the countertop or spout when tamping. This keeps the puck-preparation area cleaner and gives the portafilter greater stability.

An integrated damping ring protects the portafilter from direct contact with metal. The compact, round design takes up little space and complements classic ECM setups particularly well.

Important when choosing: ECM points out that this fixed station is not intended for the premium stainless steel portafilters with a higher head. For those, the height-adjustable ECM tamper station is the more suitable version.

The aluminum station is right for you if you use a classic ECM portafilter and are looking for a compact, fixed tamping station.
