ECM Puristika PID Espresso Machine with Fast Heat Up

The ECM Puristika is designed exclusively for espresso. It deliberately omits steam and hot-water wands, creating an especially slim setup for anyone who wants to prepare only espresso, ristretto, or Americano with separately heated water.

PID control, a shot counter, and a pump pressure gauge provide the essential tools for a repeatable extraction. ECM states that the current Puristika is ready to brew after around 11 minutes. The separate glass water reservoir can be positioned freely beside the machine and defines its distinctive look.

The easily accessible expansion valve is used to adjust the pump pressure. It is not a pressure-profiling system that can be freely controlled during extraction - the Puristika is deliberately a purist, classically operated espresso machine.

The Puristika is right for you if espresso is clearly the focus and you need neither steam power nor a large water reservoir built into the housing. For regular milk-based drinks, another ECM platform would be more suitable.
