Before connecting: clarify the starting point
First check whether you actually have a Connected Scale designed to work with the machine. Do not change any other machine settings during this process.

Only then compare the taste and adjust the grinder.
For the second shot, change only one thing if possible. Otherwise, it remains unclear whether the improvement came from the connection, the grind size, or a changed coffee dose.
If the setup does not succeed
Record the step at which the process fails: machine unreachable, scale not found, setup not completed, or no automatic stop. Check the requirements listed for that step in the current manual. Unverified reset instructions from older videos may refer to different generations of devices.
