The pack contains 100 filters and is suitable for households or small groups where several cups are regularly prepared at once. Size 03 provides enough height for larger amounts of coffee grounds and water. This also keeps a large pour-over clean in the appropriate filter format.

The paper retains fine particles and a large portion of the coffee's natural oils. The result is typically clearer and lighter than with a French press or metal filter. The filter should be thoroughly rinsed with hot water before brewing. At the same time, the large dripper is preheated, which is particularly useful for higher total volumes.

With large V60 recipes, the demands on a consistent grind size and controlled pouring increase. The paper itself does not dictate a fixed flow rate for the coffee; instead, it works together with the grind size, coffee bed, and pouring rate. A precise scale and a gooseneck kettle help distribute larger amounts of water in a structured way. This keeps extraction reproducible even when preparing several cups.

These size 03 filters are right for you if you use the large V60 regularly. For individual cups, sizes 01 or 02 are more convenient and economical. Compared with a reusable filter, they do generate consumable waste, but cleanup is particularly straightforward. After brewing, the entire coffee puck is simply removed together with the paper.
