The single-dose workflow is especially suitable if you use several coffees in parallel or weigh your dose precisely before each shot. Unlike traditional hopper grinders, no large supply of beans remains permanently in the hopper.
Philos or Mazzer Mini?
The Philos consistently focuses on grinding by portion. The Mazzer Mini, by contrast, is a traditional espresso grinder, while the Mini G adds a direct Grind by Weight workflow. This allows you to choose within the Mazzer range specifically according to your preferred dosing method.
