Hario V60 Paper Filters - Size 01 100 pieces

The Hario V60 Paper Filters Size 01 are designed for the small V60-01 drippers and are ideal for one to two cups. The pack contains 100 filters, providing many weeks of daily use. Their conical shape fits properly in the dripper and supports the typical V60 flow rate. For small single servings, Size 01 is more compact and uses less material than larger filters.

Paper filters retain fine particles and a large portion of the coffee oils. This produces a clearer, lighter cup than metal filters or a French press. Before brewing, it is recommended to rinse the filter with hot water. This removes any possible paper taste, preheats the dripper, and ensures that the paper sits properly.

The filter is an important part of the entire V60 system and should match the dripper size. A filter that is too large sits unnecessarily high, while one that is too small is not properly supported. For Hario V60 01, these filters are therefore the standard choice. Grind size and pouring technique nevertheless remain the most important factors for the actual flow time.

The pack of 100 is right for you if you regularly brew individual pour-over cups and want a convenient supply. For V60 02 or 03, you should use the appropriate larger filter size. Compared with reusable metal filters, these produce consumable waste, but cleanup is much faster. After brewing, the entire filter with the coffee puck can simply be removed and discarded.
