Hario V60 Glass Coffee Dripper 01 - Black

The Hario V60 Glass Coffee Dripper 01 Black combines classic V60 geometry with a transparent body made of heat-resistant glass. Size 01 is designed for approximately one to two cups, making it particularly suitable for individual specialty coffee portions. The black base creates a clear contrast with the glass and pairs well with modern, dark setups. Thanks to its transparent design, the brewing process remains especially easy to observe.

Spiral ribs inside keep the paper away from the walls and support airflow and water flow. The large opening at the bottom makes the flow rate highly dependent on grind size and pouring technique. This allows you to influence the flavor very directly through water flow rate and pouring pattern. A precise, consistent grind is at least as important as the dripper itself.

Heat-resistant glass does not impart any flavors to the coffee and is easy to clean after brewing. Preheating is advisable so that the brewing water does not unnecessarily lose energy to the cold dripper. With a coffee scale and a gooseneck kettle, you can create a controlled workflow for repeatable small recipes. This makes it possible to present particularly light roasts in a very clear and aromatic way.

The Glass 01 is a good choice if you mainly brew a single cup and prefer the feel of glass to ceramic. For larger quantities, the 02 or 03 is more practical. Compared with plastic, glass is heavier and more fragile, but it looks significantly more premium. The black base makes this version especially well suited to a modern barista setup.
